Default Car freight.

I'm from SA and looking at a car in Sydney, Whats the best/cheapest way to get it over here? It runs, but i probably wouldn't trust it to drive 1500kms to adelaide.

I've heard TNT could do it for around $500. I worked out fuel to drive it back would be about $400, plus air fares and the breakdowns in the middle of nowhere!

I could drive there and tow it back, but that would be even more expensive.

Any other freight companys that anyone knows of that they could suggest?

And what prices have you been quoted?

Cheers.

Try this company;

http://www.vipinspections.com/onsite.html

I have used them (LTD from Sydney to Perth) and a friend of mine has used them (XE ESP Albury to Perth) and we have had excellent service from them. It cost me about $1400 door to door delivery.

I used TNT
Mackay QLD depot to my driveway in Sydney, $730.00.

Bootlid got a Ding at some stage during transit. TNT paid up, so in the end it cost me nothing :
