Default race performance of my el

gday all

had a great day at heathcote yesterday but i have a question on how the el performed

i have a question about how my el performed

my first run of the day was a 15.5307 and then a 15.57 and got slower each run by about the same margin then did another 15.5375 and then went slower than ever with 15.6911 and a 15.7724

can anyone fill me in as to why it would do that

just wondering as the second pass felt like it pulled harder the whole length of the track

dont get me wrong it ran just outside my pb ( 15.4669) which i was happy about

jason

Cool down time is very important, hot lapping these cars is difficult in the performance stakes, the inlet temps rise. Always lift your bonnet after every run and let it cool.

Also tyre pressures play a part in all of this, they rise in pressure after the burnout and during the run and at the end of the day they can rise a fair bit which gives you less surface on the racetrack.

That's all i can think of.

Cheers Craig

thanks Craig

i thought about the engine bay temp but didnt realise it played that much of a part in the overal side of things

also tyre pressure what would be the best on a set of 205 15"

thanks again
