Hi all,
im wondering can i run a jmm dev 5 cam without any major mods to my car, all i have done is 4480 pacies and 2.5inch exhaust, does it need anything in particular aside from just popping it in (i will change springs etc) cheers all.(car is manual el xr6 cheers not hybrid build date is 01/1997) |

um yeah I think the springs was the only requirement. If you dont get a 100% answer here just email them (or call..LOL).
Id be very very interested in how you go by the way, post up the results when your done.

yea im keen to find out as well my neighbors ***** to my parents about how loud my car is (only have one muffler) and im hoping either this makes it louder or gives it a more v8ish sound (smiling imagining what im gonna do at 5 in the morning 2 moro)

LOL...I had the same problem with my last car and rental. Unfortunately for me the guy next door was a druggy freak and he went off at me one day. Ah you get that.
I dont know about louder, but my cam in the Ghia changed the tone.

mine know that i can escalate it, i have a v8 xf which is very good at making bald tyres nice car no rego full of rust.

sorry about the dp, should i also can to a Vernier Gear as well, also what should i pay max to have this stuff installed (cam and spring atm no gear???) im in Sydney so if anyone knows a good place let me know. cheers

bump! should be getting my cam this week, im told its recommended that i get a adjustable Vernier Gear now im not sure but i heard somewhere that tickford motors(el xr6 (non hybrid) already had one??? if it doesnt where could i get one and what should i be paying also what price range am i looking at getting this cam installed and should i have it dyno tuned? any nsw ppl know a good place that this can be done for a good price??? thanks all
