I want to know if it is ok to rip the ( i think it is called the...) Fire,heat, protecting stuff at the back of the eingine bay nearest the cabin.
Mine is looking very tired and dirty and torn, would it be a problem to peel it off? peace rob :king: |

I think your biggest problem would be getting it all off!
I'd leave it on, i know how annoying and ugly it is when it rips cos it was stuffed in my EF, but its there to keep noise and heat out of your cabin.

Spray it with some black spray dye if it looks a bit dodgy. Mine doesnt even ahve it and you can definately notice the amount of engine noise in the cabin compared to the later model AU's.
