Hey guys, Looking for that cheap second car thing.
I have found one that needs a little work (cosmetic) and has been in front end accident. The car has been repaired except the cosmetic stuff, i have been advised i need a VIV check??? That smy Question... WTF is a VIV check? what do they look for what do they test? How do i know if the car is going to even come close to being ok? I know it costs about $450 for one and all.. but i am not sure where to get it done and what they do to the car.. Any help please? Cheers Rick....

In Qld we call it a WOVI... sounds like the same deal
Witten Off Vechilce Inspection Fowles auction house has the engineers that do them. They check your invoices and the standard of the rpair and notify your DOT that the VIN is cleared and you can then re-register the car.
