I went to Dayton VDO for the AU2 and they wanted $385 for the update disc. I checked with ford and they wanted $330.
As for the BA and BA2, same prices.
I might buy one for the BA and see if it can be copied.

AU Sat Nav is VDO/Dayton Carin software. BA-BF Sat Nav is VDO/Dayton Denso (DVD) software. Not compatible.

SENSIS online or wheris for map upgrades. Think you can download and burn to disc? Or buy and get mailed to you. This is where my supplier pointed me.. Not cheap either, I might wait a little longer.... Maybe limewire or a mate with a current cd, but dont you register them? May be hard to copy and use.

Yeah I realise that, I was talking about the satnav in the BA and BA2. Come to think of it, I'll try and copy the BF satnav disc and see if it works.

Damn. Oh well, think I'll just put up with it for now, in NSW nothing has really changed on the roads as they haven't done any road works except the cross city tunnel and the M7 (which was done by the feds anyway).
