Default Just bought the EL Fairmont Ghia 5L

Well guys, after tossing and turning about whether to buy a I6 or a V8 in a fairmont Ghia, I took the V8 and what a lovely car it is.
The drive was great. The car looks and feels very tidy. Driving it home I got 11.1L/100kms which I thought was very impressive.
I will have some pics up soon.
It is silver with standard wheels, lowered, exhaust, dark tints and GT snokel. All I want for it is just a nice set of 17-18's rims for it and it will be perfect.
Thanks for everyones input about which one to buy.
Rgds, Ben

Looks great. The headlights could do with a polish but other than that, it looks mint.

Very nice, its looks super clean.

You can clean the headlights with VERY fine sandpaper. Or get them replaced (changeover) by visiting or sending your headlights to a guy on the forums. The Dok, he runs the Headlight Hospital. (www.theheadlighthospital.com.au)

Agreed that it will look super nice with some wheels. Theres a set of BA GT-P copies for e-series offset in 19's for sale on the forums too.

Goodluck, and enjoy it

the ebay sets are non-genuine, and have been known to be ****.

Genuine or proper repair for your headlights..

Don't get aftermarket headlights. Most of the ones on ebay are aftermarket, and they are crap. A lot of them melt the lenses.
