Sydney people, there's a cruise coming up next sunday (27th May). ClassicFord forum is inviting Eurofordclub for a drive to Gosford via old pac. hwy. It's gonna be a great cruise 30+ cars are already confirmed, it's gonna be MASSIVE.

EUROFORDCLUB JUNE 2007 CRUISE
Date : Saturday, 30th June Meeting point : Thornleigh Maccas What time : 9am meet-up, 9:30am go time! Destination/Route : Thornleigh Maccas -> Galston Gorge -> Wisemans Ferry -> Old Pac. Hwy -> Thornleigh. -From Thornleigh maccas, drive up on Pennant Hills Rd -Pennant Hills Rd will become Pacifiy Hwy, continue driving up on Pacific Hwy -Turn left on Galston Rd -Turn left when road ends and continue driving on Galston Rd -Galston Rd will become Mid-Dural Rd -Turn right onto Old Northern Rd when Mid-Dural Rd ends -Turn right at the end of Old Northern Rd -Get on the punt and turn right once we get off the punt -Drive on Wisemans Ferry Rd. -Turn right on George Downes Dr, which will become Peats Ridge Rd -Continue driving on Peats Ridge and turn right onto Old Pacific Hwy -Continue driving down on Old Pacific Hwy/Pacific Hwy which will lead you back to Hornsby Approx. total of 4.5 hrs, 200kms. What to bring : A full-tank of petrol (essential) and some money for lunch. Most likely we'll grab something to eat once we get to wisemans ferry, there are some food places there. UPDATE: as you are all aware of the terrential rains in Newcastle way and the road collapsing in gosford. we will have to find an alternate route on the way back.
Im trying to find out what parts of the road exactly have been cut off. we may have to take the Highway back.

Just a thought, if it rains significantly today and tomorrow then soccer will very likely be cancelled. Then i'll be there with the rest of you guys for sure! However, would the cruise still run if there's rain?

It turned out to be fine weather. No rain but a bit of wind and it was another great Eurofordclub Cruise!
