I have 2 WRX guys at work express some interest in attending this. But one is curious about the deposit. What is the deal on that? Mainly when they do and when they don't apply.

Cheers

The track day has been canned for the time being as the track has been booked for that day. We will hopefully have one early next year.

Now im really sh&tty. I just had a look at wakefields web site, & they say for $80 + licence you can have a thrash. Would it be better if we just do it that way? all just turn up for a "No speed limit day"
Whats your thoughts????????

There couldn't be that many going on those no speed limit days could there? I'd be happy if I got a couple of hours. I was a little worried about the wear and tear from spending a half a day on the track under the now cancelled arrangements.

I agree with Steve.

The biggest problem is when you first raise the question about a trackday, everyone is really keen and they want to attend. But when time comes to pay the money, half of them pull out because of lack of funds. Just like tyre kickers.

I reckon no speed limit days are the best ones. Get your group of 4 or 5 definates and reserve a spot. Cheaper and less organisation and no headaches.
