Default AR Telstar Water troubles?

Hi,

I have an AR 84 Telstar, 2.0l Auto. I has done 53,000Kms and is in great condition apart from a few oil leaks due to the age of the car and not being driven much.

Anyway, yesterday i noticed the temp gauge go hot all of a sudden, i pulled over and it was bone dry, i poured some water in and it appers to be coming out of a hose/clamp under the manifold on the passanger side.

Any ideas what the hose/clamp could be?

Thanks.

PS: It blows black smoke (Fuel) and uses a heap of it, would FORD be able to give it a tune up?

Thanks again.

Default

that would be a pipe joiner into the inlet manifold to cool the carby
if the hose has a split or the clamp failed you are lucky
corrosion may be the problem

black smoke-- the carby is running rich probably a choke issue /sure tune it

To ford your money is as good as everyone elses
