Note the extra gauges on the passenger side of the dash? Handy.

Shame to see anyones pride and joy end up like that though. Just think you have a reason to upgrade now

Hmmm not cool. In my old car I had an electrical fire under the dash once, that wasn't fun but it wasn't fatal like this one.

Ive had a few car fires......

Once in an XF when the starter motor jammed on after being stolen, it caused an electrical fire that started on the thick battery cables,

Once in an EB, a feul sender sire shorted somewhere and melted throught its own plastic protection, then melted through a whole heap of other wires causing them all to short which set my carpet on fire

I had an idiot uncle who set fire to his roof lining while using the grinder in the car (yea, hes pretty dumb)

I had a close call the other day..... I changed the fuel pump in my AU, went for a drive and could smell a bit of petrol, opened the boot to find it was full of PULP! turns out that I hadnt done up the ring tight enough (I had to resort to a hammer and screwdriver to get it any tighter!) and it just ****ed out after I filled it up. The lucky part is there were a couple of exposed wires to the fuel pump which could have easily ignited the boot - needless to say I wont do that again!
