i dont think tnt do it anymore could be wrong though, try and get it in container it is alot safer.
i looked at doing this a few months back before i bought my BF XR6T it will set you back anywhere from $1150 to 1550 depending on how long you want to wait and getting it from depot to depot.
it is a bit rich considering my sister sent her GT from prth to melb for $600 it is considered a "back load" to eastern states and is heaps cheaper than melb to Perth i will try and find out who my sis used...
cheers

Correct Elmo............TNT is about the best for overall service.
I have used them twice. First car was my XE ESP from Sydney to Perth.
That was door to door in 2005. The second was my XD Ghia from Melb.
That was depot to depot last year and cost just over $1100.
Allow anywhere from 3-6 weeks depending on what date you want it
as they are flat out with all the new cars coming over here.
My XD came in a container on a ship as the backlog was so huge but
was still by TNT.
There are cheaper , but make sure they have " FULL INSURANCE " as my mate's HK Monaro ended up a pancake as the truck rolled over and the company said they had no insurance as they weren't " Common Carriers " and didn't need it !!!

I'm also using TNT to ship my XE ESP over to Melb. and back to Perth in Nov. and Dec. this year so I definitely recommend them !!

chuck it on the train. a lot cheaper and probably quicker too.
ring up Melbourne Station and ask them about it.

you'd still have to contact a freight company either way as they station wont help you, and to my understanding TNT or TOLL would be the companies to contact for train transport aswell...

A friend put his car on the Indian Pacific, when he got to Melb found his paint had been embeded with shards of metal from the train tracks.....
Lesson one: cover your car!!!

Just send a GT to perth cost less than $1000 and brought one down from NT for $650 delivered to my door. It was via moving cars a company in Qld but was send with Patricks. They sent it on the train and you can track where it is. Took two weeks to arrive but was undercover all the way.
Cheers Byron
