Hi Ya Gang,
I've got a GARMIN GPS that I use everyday, and over the last week the bloody thing has been giving me the horrors somthing wickid. Prior to this it has been faultless. I thought it was just mine, but both my dad and my wife is having troubles as well. However we are all with in the same kinda area. Is it a satallite issue??? Are you having problems with a different make??? I got the wife her's for Christmas, as she has NO idea of direction. I dunno how she even gets out of the street without it! LOL : With mine it's like having a nagging woman with you, between here RECALCULATING and LOST SATALLITE RECEPTION I find myself swearing at the GPS. We've not had a cloud in the sky up here for ages, so the reception thing seems strange??? Interested in your thoughts.

very strange indeed, i dont own a garmin myself personally but i do sell gps's & garmin are a great brand. The unit itself may have just started playing up i mean these things do happen, could be something to do with the antenna on the back of the unit that may be faulty. I highly doubt its a satellite issue. I suggest calling garmin first thing monday morning and seeing if you can get anywhere with them.
As this is not a common issue with garmin products. well to the best of my knowledge anyway. |

Hi Ya Gang,
Thanks for the suggestions lads, it's appreciated. It has been faultless, up until the last week or so! Alas, I'm onto it. I'll keep ya posted. Again Thanks Heaps!

Is it a navigation GPS or is it one of those handheld jobbies like my Garmin eTrex Legend?
