What do you guys consider must have AU mods?
Can be internal, or external. Nothing major like a twin turbo kit, but moreso smaller stuff. What are all those small mods you've done and are really glad? Reason I ask is because I'm considering throwing some dosh at the interior of my baby, chrome door handles, Chrome Tbar mount plate, XR Momo wheel etc. Just looking for some other smallish mod ideas Cheers |

1 - Tickford CAI snorkel (if not already fitted).
2 - Lowered suspension. 3 - 17" rims at least. 18" would be better.

1 Lower the car first with a good set of wheels.Au's just look neater lowered.
2 Basic engine mods eg: extractor & 2.5 cat back exhaust system, Tickford snorkel. 3 Then start on inter & exterior and more engine mods if money allowes you to. buickman |

LSD (if it hasn't got one), 18" rims minimum.........all performance stuff as mentioned above.
Oh, little things, let's see, just ditch the cheap and tacky things like the plastic door handles and the lugs on the inside of the front door trims for starters with the chrome door handles and some insignias. BA scuff bits are also a nice touch. Things start to get pricey from then on if you're going the full Ghia spec with the centre console chrome bits on the T-bar and parkbrake and additional bits of leather around there.

Take both your mirror covers off and give them to the painter Hambo, probally between $30-60 depending on how well you know them.

If you can't find the tickford snorkel get the XR6T one, that's what I got. Then you would want a K & N Filter.
And Lowering is a must! Especially if you are going to put bigger rims on it. What sort of AU do you have anyway? Put up some pics. Edit: Also just realised this is a really old thread. |

Bling is good. Although the amount you spend on Bling, you can get stuff to make the car go faster. I prefer bling.

I've had an each way bet on bling and bang. It was bang first up, then bling, lately it's been more bang.
