Go to www.merijn.org and download Hijack this
(direct linky here http://www.merijn.org/files/hijackthis.zip rightclick, save as) Run hijack this and look for BHO etc that aren't google toolbars and basically anything that you can find thats not supposed to be there... I had the unremoveable popup issue on my work PC, I had to run Hijack this in safemode to lose the last bit of it...

go to control panel, add remove software, click on the windows components you can remove IE there. it wont get rid of the lot but it will stop some 5h17. also get a firewall like zone alarm and when IE tries to get out, block its access.

IE is now an integral part of Windows. Just don't use it and obtain another browser such as Opera.
The problem isn't with IE itself, it is just very prone to spyware which takes advantage of it. |

The site referenced there has 'declared war' on Jamster. How's the fix going?
