Yup, reported no less than 15-20 items by the same seller.

Their response:

Thank you for your emails. Please be assured that we share your concern about potential scams. The seller and the ads in question are not legitimate and the ads have already been removed from our site. If you have made any contact with the seller we recommend that you cease all contact.

Funny thing is, the links in the emails i sent em still show the item, but a separate search for the same item will not bring it up as a result.

Don't know how that works but it seems to have solved the problem.

Why is he asking $8,800 for everything? seems a bit dodgy...

Well that made it easy to search for all his ads. Popped in a search for 8800 and sure enough all the ads were easy to find.

Now how much would this exercise have cost? Whats the going rate for an add of 4-5 lines with 4-5 pictures these days?

All up this guy had at least 15 adds posted. This person would have been easy enough to trace if they were stupid enough to use their own credit card and home computer i'm guessing?

oh well. I hope there wasn't anyone stupid enough to think they could buy a car at 15% of their real cost. I wonder what the inbox of the seller looked like after a few days? Porbably full of emails containing lots of name calling and nast words (I hope).

Scams come under the GST threshold... Wait, GST is a scam itself.

I believe the number 8 is considered lucky in some cultures. Maybe this clown thinks he will get away with the $8800 price...
