Lol @ ACA. I missed this one too but one night during the week I flicked the telly on a bit too early and caught some of it. Until then I was unaware that ACA had expanded their mandate to include telemarketing. I don't remember exactly what the ad was for but I do recall thinking at the time the segment would have pleased even the most die-hard Gunthy Renker fans.

Edit: a quick look through the above link reminded me, it was an ad for a real estate agent in Stawell.

Thanks for the link - just be warned though Firefox users you will have to view it in Internet Explorer, damn MSN locking stuff.

That Johnno guy, I wonder if that "I really can't answer that" would go down well with a Judge?

I didn't realise VY's could get that fast.

That's because he is talking crap!

Bet he ran back to the fort though getting praise from his moronic mates.

Funny thing is to the rest of the nation, he just made himself look like a bigger moron by going on TV and admitting to it openly like there's nothing wrong with it.

At first the car crushing seemed harsh, but when I think about it, stuff them.

If they want to continually endanger peoples' lives, then they can watch their cars, with 50,000K+ spent get crushed. Maybe they can turn EMO and slash their wrists everynight, makes the rest of us feel at ease.

It seems like the only logical solution left, and I was extremely amazed at how anyone could admit to be such a f***wit on TV.

I don't know why he's getting his license back. He deserves imprisonment.

I never watch ACA anymore, 4Vman summed it up, constant dribble that keeps the majority of the population interested in topics such as these

Funny thing is lots of people say its a crap show but I watched it last night and "fill in story". (translated - I watch it all the time because I believe the tripe that they serve up isn't designed to make me angry and scared of the world outside)

The guy "Jonno" is an occasional member on the www.fordxr6turbo.com site and has stated that ACA missled him into the statements and asked him to lie about the 290km/h. It was all done to make a better story
I do not know who to believe, but ACA are well known at lieing and putting crap on the TV every night.

The problem is, everytime ACA airs this crap, the rest of us are made guilty by association. Anyone with a decent ride becomes targreted and labled a hoon. They love to ignore the work by car clubs and various organisations who condone the actions of idiots like this. Doesn't suit they're agenda. Again i wouldn't be the least bit surprised if this twit was a paid actor. Can't wait for the next installment of dangerous P Platers..... It can't be too far away either.

Funny story about that actually.

I was walking past the TV the other nigt when home and away was on and they had some crap about street racing. Some kids on it got caught by cops going to a street racing meet and the cops gave a lecture and let them off with a warning (yeah like that would happen) and that old bloke I think his names Alf called em flaming mongrels or some crap.

Seems like evrybody is getting on the bandwagon.

I can't sneeze in my car without being followed by cops it seems.

Can some other bogan please get thrown in a Bali prison so the media can the hell off???

"I uh don't really have an answer for that one"

Not only is the guy an absolutely cumbucket for going on TV and openly kicking himself in the nuts, but he's an absolutely braindead dropkick, can't think of something on the spot, and he says he hoons on the road...

Bloody hell thank god he isn't in my state...

There is word that it could of been a setup by both ACA and the idiot in question, and filmed at C & V in Sydney

No surprises if so those shows would do anything for a story

Bahaha! I was at a certain tuning shop where this character works on Saturady morning. The staff were having great fun hanging crap on him. It was really weird, half the cars in the story were either in the shop or had just left, including the blue gtp they showed on the strip!

The guy was a moron for talking to them. Im not sure if it was setup, but wouldnt be suprised

Well he was answering phones and served me a couple of weeks ago. I guess that means that it wasnt a setup and the guy was a complete moron.
