Default car just want advice

hello my name is dodgy and im wondering what i could do to my vp holden to get more money for it. its done about 262000kms its a sedan, 4 spd auto its had a few things fixed on it and theres nothing major wrong with it generally runs good but it still needs a bit tidied up on it like the following.

1. Leaky power steering and gronaning pump (does that have to be fixed)
2. Shakey steering wheel.
3. Rust hole in boot about 20 mm x 30 mm (Might do as is).
4. Stalling problem fixed as it sometimes stalls not always though.
5. Rough idle problem fixed as it sometimes idles rough not always though.

the reason im asking this is because im not getting much money to afford the difference on the ford that i want (EB2, ED Fairmont) and im looking to get as much from this car as i can so i dont have to find as much money to pay the difference.

thanks for your time

The going rate for scrap metal is around $120 a tonne at the moment.

How much more do you think you値l get for it?

mate i think you will find the things that you listed are classed as optional accessories by GMH. you have got 2 options. drive it into the ground and save or tidy it right up, fix what you can without spending any money and hope that some bogan buys it. good luck.

Ok heres the way it goes.
If your getting offered 1500-2k for it now i think your getting its real value so your not going to gain much fixing it anyway.
My advice would be to clean it up as best you can, give the seats a clean, engine bay, polish the paint, clean the windows.
A well presented car is always more attractive to a buyer.
Next, for the money it will cost you to buy a P/S pump you wont gain much so i wouldn't bother.
The wheel wobble could be wheel balance or a shagged ball joint/ steering rack, again not worth fixing if its the latter as you wont increase its value to compensate the cost.
The rust, well not worth repairing either really.
The rough idle/stalling however can be sorted by cleaning the throttle body and IAC.
Remove the plastic intake tube, unbolt the throttle body, remove all wires(TPS&IAC), the vacuum lines, and the throttle cable.
Then use carby cleaner to clean up the inside of the T/B.
Remove the IAC and clean the pintle(piece on the end with the spring) being careful not to move the pintle, than put it all back together.
This usually solves the V6 idle probs.
