Best 4th session qualifying in a long time. Even with the altitude they still managed some good times although its weird seeing 5 second cars qualified in the Funnies.
Also great to see some sponsorship on Hot Rods car. Hopefully they will sign up for at least the rest of the season now.

Be good to see hot rod with a full time sponser. Great wheel stand during his qualifying run, would have run a great time if that didnt happen.

They kept talking about the thin air, I think that wheel stand showed how thin. He was smart to back off too as it didnt want to come back down.

The most remarkable for the night was Tommy peddling the funnycar 1/4 track and STILL qualifying 15th. Luck, skill, whatever, was a great recovery.

Yes there has been a fair bit of pedalling over the last few weeks, a couple of top fuel runs last week where pedal fests.

How did you like Bartones power slide and roll over in the sand pit?? Lucky boy!!

yup, that was impressive. Never thought a FC could powerslide like that.

Last weeks pedal fest was a ripper. Brandon copped 2 in a row but the first one was the best. 2 TF cars going mental!

Brandon really knows how to drive that car of his. Alot of engine abuse, alot of tyre spin, alot of craziness and most times they still run under 10 secs. Amazing just how much power they have.

I ws pretty happy last week. I'm a Hot Rod, John Force and Jeg fan so I got 2 out of 3 last week.
Should have seen me when Force won, I was jumping around like an idiot. Dogs took off and the wife came in asking what the hell was going on :

Yes very good trio there. Good to see Force up there in the winners circle again. You must have been jumping around more than John was. Always good to see Jeg win, great racer. Whats happening to Greg Anderson lately? lost the plot? And how can you go past supporting hot rod, great bloke. Funny to see rushing to the toilet to stuffed his knee up, booked in for surgery Wednesday after the finals.

No one jumps around more than Force himself. No wonder the sponsors love him, he can rattle them all off in every single interview.

Did you hear he's bringing out the #4 car again? Seems Eric's dad has the final say and he's said its time. Thats going to be one prime seat to get a drive in, wonder who's going to get it?

John Force needs to take steroids and bulk up, then become a wrestler, he sure as hell talks like one.

By the way I'm a fan of his, great to see him win again.

The way the team is going I think he must have swapped cars with Ashley ;)

Well he did run a new chassis before the last meeting and won, this meeting he went to the semis but red lighted...

Ashley hasn't qualified for the last two events.....it's a learning curve i guess for her but funny car is real tough to even qualify these days.

Finally got to watch it tonight. Another happy track for me and just great to see Hot Rod give Cat a win for its money. Hopefully they will come on board for the rest of the season.
Shame about Force, I think he had the car to do it again.

Jeg's car just wasnt in the hunt really, those Mopars were on fire.. they were 100% class and power all day.

Just gone is the Seattle event and lots of rain, it rained like crazy when i was there in 1995 and they had to finish the race on the wednesday, today Ashley Force had a scary crash but the old man made it through to the final, look forward to the show tomorrow night if it's on and if it's not edited badly like some of the shows.

Loved the footage (and interview from Force) as the Impala blew itself to shreds.
The closeness of some of the TF runs (both FC and rail) this year is awesome.

Good to see Anderson back on his game. Congrats to Force and The Sarge for racking up another win too.

The Force is BACK!!

Who would have picked 4 rouds ago he'd be at No 7 in the points? Major come back.

Looks like the Sarge is firing on all 8 again too.. he's going to be a major threat for the title as usual.

Sure does not take Force long to get his act turned around. Back in the top 8 a couple of races before the countdown to the championship starts, hopefully he will stay in there.

The Sarge just keeps getting better, look out the rest.
