Default Bent bar???

Since doing my BA front brake conversion on the wagon, the suspension has had a knocky rattling noise over bumps on the LHS. Similar noise to worn shocks (not likely cause as I renewed the shocks in the process) or worn 'D' bushes on the rollbar. I've already replaced the 'D' bushes with new Nolathane ones, which made no difference.

Checking it over today the LHS rollbar 'D' bush makes a groaning sound as the bar rotates through it when the suspension is jacked & released. Could this translate to the noise over bumps?

The donor car was supposedly rear-ended, but the LHS rollbar chassis bracket was bent, I've replaced it already. I'm starting to think the rollbar may be bent too & just enough out of alignment with the bush to bind when it turns. I've put fresh lube in the bush twice, no difference.

Would it be worth my while to just get a new rollbar, probably aftermarket? If so, any recommendations?
