Sounds a lot like you may have done a head gasket mate, thats about the extent I can think of.

yep, sounds like a head gasket. Check the water in the radiator, is it all creamy?, if so it means the water and oil is mixing together.
A good mechanic will be able to tell you straight away if it's a head gasket. If you keep driving it you will do more damage, will cost a bit to fix too, depending on the mechanic. Any where from a few hundred (getting a mate to do it) and having the head replaned if it's not warped to over a grand for a professional job. He'll probably recommend getting the valves redone whilst the heads off if needed. If you are OK with a spanner you could have a go yourself but it requires being done properly, making sure the heads OK , that you get all the old gasket off, fine grit sand paper on the block to make it nice and clean, torquing down the bolts to spec etc.

Get a CO2 (?) test at a mechanics a cheap $20 way to find out if you've done your head gasket.

The fact that it only smokes wen u start it points 2 valve guide seals. There alot cheaper 2 repair than a head or head gasket. The water loss could b from alot of things, as jaydee said check the water, if it is clear than it is more than likley that the oil and water are unrelated.
