Default auto laser stopping

my 85 laser which has been going really well to date has developed a problem in the last week. A couple of times when I have stopped at lights it has cut out-all thered lights come on but the car has stopped- no problems restarting. BUT this week I got in one afternoon and I couldn't start her up- made all the right noises but wouldn't turn over completely. The nRMA guy came and checked spark etc and then she started- drove the rest of the day no problems. The next day started fine, drove up the driveway and then she cut out and I couldn't get her started.
any ideas as to minor things I could try not being a very mechanical person- it has been a while between services and she was to go in this week for a full service and tuneup and rego check.

plugs or leads if you have spark

clean the battery posts and terminals with a bit of sand paper

book the car in for a service .... just a guess might be a dirty fuel filter

If it is a full service u will more than likley find that the problem will go away after the service as these sort of problems are usualy caused by a lapse of time between routine maintenance.
