As far as I know, nobody does a copy of the kit. The story goes that when Ford created the original kit they designed it all in Germany (I think) with proper aerodynamic testing etc etc, had the moulds made, made the bits they needed then sent an Armaguard truck to pick up the moulds, and they were never seen again. Hence why it is so hard to find an aftermarket copy of the kit - because the original moulds arent available and nobody with an EL GT is going to be interested in pulling the bodykit to bits to get it moulded. This is one of the main reasons why EL GT bits are one of THE hardest bits to get from Ford Spares too, they're guarded moreso than BA GT parts.

It's not a real kit, it's just a grille, a bonnet vent and a spoiler. Even the grille looks gumby.

The test mule thing is a load of shit. I have the Project 064 book thingy. There were 4 GT mules One was based on a cosmetically standard EF Fairmont with all the GT driveline components (sleeper!), and the rest were fully kitted EL Ghia's which were later destroyed.

They were code-named HGT1-HGT4.

Wow, just when I thought the EL GT front couldn't look crapper, someone puts a Ghia badge above it.

I have looked at that very car when it was for sale back in '03 on the NSW central coast. But I bought my wagon instead. That car is modified a touch but its no gt mule - pure BS.

Its on gas and pulling 201 kws, thats not a bad effort is it?

Side on pic shows the guard sitting in the tyre at the rear, and the angle pic of the side there is a big gap, what gives there, i know it doesnt have SLS.
