i never said this is an calander shoot, it is impossible to get all the rite cars at the rite time, jas.
this is an opportunity 4 a foto shoot , with the possiblity of alex strojen aka"the goodz" to take fantastic shots of whoever decides to show up......

IMO

Another possibly for a theme for the first ORSM Ford Cruises could be a "The Making Of The ORSM Ford Cruises club. From then to now......

Just a sugestion, but what if you did a group photo from an elavated possi of all the members for the cover. This could be done at cruise or an event.
Then maybe do a pole for the featured cars inside the calendar.
This gives eveyone a chance to be in it and a bit of input for who gets featured.
This was done at another car brand forum and everyone was happy with the outcome, the best cars got featured and everyone that didnt, still had a photo of their car on the cover.

Like i said above it's just a sugestion. As i am going to be a payed up member soon i thought id try and make some contribution to the forum.

The ideas we have at the moment are the following,

1. Getting 3-4 cars per page(that way everyone gets in the first calender.)
2. 1-2 cars per page using a draw system where we randomly draw names out of a hat, once you have appeared in 1 you will have to wait until everyone has had a turn before you go in again.

Hopefully this will be discussed at the next meeting.

Matt

I've got a great shot of Chris' car that I feel should be either on the cover of the first calendar or the first month. This was the first ORSM after all.

Well the committee has been having meeting about the calender and how we should run it ...
I think the photos should be judged on the over all .. eg ORSMXR's one ... looks good .. car is shiney ...background... nice angle and so on ...
To make it fair for everyone there is one way we have thought about running/picking photo's for the calender might be as follows ..

The 6 committee members will be the judges..

Judges cars wont be in the calender ( where possible )

Members will submitt photo's taken from the 4+ photo shoots held and only from those shoots for photo quaility reasons...
Currently Matt, Tristan and Tony W are the offical photograghers for the calender but other photo's may be excepted from ORSM show and shines.

All photo's will be judged for the overall look to it ... just remember we want this calender to look VERY GOOD(ORSM) cos we might be even able to sell them and make extra $$$ for the club for the trailer and so on..

Those car featured in the calender will be excluded from next years calender to make room for other members cars for the next issue..

I would suggest that no more than 3 cars in a pic excluding a few groups shoots to be done for front and back covers..

I personally think single or paired car photo.s have the most appeal as u would have seen in many car calenders around..

This is not set in stone but will be discussed at the club meeting so be there to have your say...

Please can i get some feedback on this and if you the members would be happy with this way of judging as i think it will be fair and will result in a ORSM calender to sell...

They certainly are Tony, very nice pics there and good reference pointers for me, on how to get my car up to scratch for Sunday.

Have the nominated guys for the photo shoots,
Have any particular dates in mind?
Any locations?
So we can start organizing some get togethers!
