although the clean look of the BA MkI stripes grabs me the most

On BAs and BFs no strips. Out of the old school GTs the XW down the side with that turn down bit at the front.

These were my "BF" stripes way back in Oct 2003 (copyright violated or what?)

It all depends on the colour of the car and the stripes, white stripes on either Bionic or Menace have got to be the pick of the bunch
Phantom stripes on Rapid look Ok too (LOL)  :

XW with the big super roo for me,I prefer the BF one's on the modern GT's over the BA one's.

I like the BA /BF Mk2 stripes (but I'm biased). I'm also big fan of some colours without stripes including black, silver & phantom.
