Yes mate, that was "Good TV"

At least we have a choice FTA or Pay . When I was a kid , Ch 8 at Orange and the ABC started at 4-30pm and closed at 10-30pm (B&W) and mid morning to 10-30 Sat & Sun . Wow , what a choice . Other than that , it was 1 Local "wireless" station.

[QUOTE=schnoods]Just remember that they aren't alive to defend themselves, their reputations and sue the chaser for everything they're worth.

Stan Zemanick was indeed a womanizing pig, but was prepared to say what other people thought at the risk of being controversial and potentially sued. But he had the balls to say it and did.

Kerry Packer - Self Made Man, took a risk and it payed dividends. Sure his son is a moocher (leach) but even he had to earn his stripes.

[QUOTE]

I agree with some one elses coment that it wasnt that funny and definatly not worth the risk but hay look at the promotional time they got out of it next week will be a ratings bonanza

Stan Zemanick was a one man chaser team, and I heard him hang it on the dead more than once

Kerry Packer - Self made man? I think not what about his old man Frank hr had squilllions? true Kerry wasnt the chosen one and he was brilant at calculating his risks. but not exactly a self made man

Self made, my ar$e. What year were you born?

Before Kerry, there was a bloke called Sir Frank. He was left a media business by his dad, Robert.

Next time a bit of research might help.

Edit: Sorry Yeti. I didn’t read the end of your post.

It was crap, it wasn't funny.
I can't change the channel because it's on all the news etc and in the paper.
I choose not to watch this idiocy but it still gets onto all the other channels or in the paper.

Womans day??? Well for you to not know the obvious, begs the question.. Where the hell have you been?

:

I did actually know Stan Zemaneks first wife, her name was Jude. She was a great friend of my mothers, and we saw what she went through when he left her with nothing.... Sure, some people may say thats what people do, but back to the main point... YOU DONT SEEM TO THINK ABOUT THESE THINGS WHEN THEY ARE GONE!!!!

"33" channels for $70 a month , is cheap entertainment , we don't go out much , maybe once every 2-3 months . The "Front" TV would spend 70-80% of the time on Pay , "Back" TV is FTA most of the time (but switchable to Pay) . Packages start at $36 a month , then you "Mix & Match" what you want .

We have No contract now , the "1 month "contract" ran out about 6 years ago , just ring them before the next month's payment is due & say we don't want it anymore if we want it cancelled .

We also watch the music channels ( kids "v" & Max , me , Max & CMC ) The kids watch the Comedy channel , Comedy Inc The late Shift etc . as well as the other kids channels .

Talking to Mum a few weeks ago & Ch 9/Win had "the same progrm" on 3 nights in a row at different times , so they repeat as well and the TV program never matches what's on .

I don't sleep real well , have you watched FTA at 3-4am (yuk) great if you want to watch "The Sullivans" , "Late night Quizz shows" and the like or Info-mercials . (some of the girls are cool though)

"Austar Satellite" is well worth it in our situation . If we don't want to watch ACA, TT, 60 Minutes (15 mins of Ads & 45 Mins of BS) or anything else there's 36 others to watch .
I suppose I jumped into that a bit. I actually was with Foxtel and went straight to the full package in a contract. Of course, they wouldnt allow me to reduce my plan in the middle of a contract (long story)...

Lmfao yeah wasn't that on the same episode? or the one before it?

He told a legless man in a wheel chair that he needed it more because he had split ends.

And made some one get off the disabled seat on the bus because he had more of a right to sit in it because he had a runny nose.

Your thoughts??
Everything they said about Stan Zemanek was true, but come on buddy, they weren't having a go at Belinda Emmett it was a joke. The whole thing was a joke so get off your high horse and get a sense of humour
