Default Swap AU II cluster with XR6 ?

Hi all,
This is my first post as I have just purchased my 1st Ford!!
I have a standard AU Series II.
I was wondering if the cluster from an XR6 ( i.e the speedo etc) will work in a standard wired AU II?
My apologies if this question has been asked before.
Ken

Yup, it can go on. Except you need a different wiring loom. Also you'll need VDO to re-program it to adjust the kms, as the kms are kept within the cluster and not the ecu.
