Default Video Clips of Ford XY GT-HO and other Fords being auctioned in Sydney

Hi all,

Video Clips on a number of Fords that were either sold or passed-in at the Shannons Classic Car Auction in Sydney on 21 October are up on the CARSofAUSTRALIA website. The auctioneer knocked back the final offer of $620,000 on the Ford Falcon XY GT and a 67 Shelby Mustang GT350 Fastback was also passed-in at $210,000.

Exactly...

Just like on Ebay don't discount the likelyhood of mates bidding it up to just below the reserve either.. The passed in amount isnt always a true indicator of market value either...
I personally will never buy anything like this at an auction that has a reserve....

Exactly..

A good example of this would of been this ordinary LX SS torana that was on ebay a few weeks back..reserve not met at 124K.
Almost all bidders have 100% bidding activity.
This drives the market up by i'll informed hunters and hence all this bullcrap
price hike.
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....:X:RTQ:AU:1123

for 125k you could have almost 2 A9X toranas.
