To have one of these cars without a quicktrack style alarm isnt wise either, its like they wanted it to disappear
I think you will find that the GT as well as some of the other cars belonged to J Caporale.

I got a look at it a few years ago it's in very good condition.

The people who did this would have had to know that the car had been left in there.

Well, he obviously has more money than brains. Who in their right mind would have a vehicle like this without some sort of GPS tracking device installed?

They池e not that expensive.

Well because IMO a car thief would be a idiot to rip this guys car off, I have been told a few details but i don't feel it's my place to repeat what i have heard, apart from it was a inside Job, and that the owner is *** ****ed off.

I heard a story once about a Harley theft where the owner had a car parked in front of his Harley in a garage, and the harley was secured to a plate which was dyna bolted to the concrete floor. Theives came in the middle of the night, unbolted the harley and carried it over the parked car, wheeled it down the street and that was the end of that bike.

I guess if they really want it, they will take it.

They will maybe store it until the statute of limitations ends (7 years i think) or just go to a private collector that never registers it and only his close friends see it...

Statute of what?!?! even if its 50 years since the theft its still a stolen item.... the car is worthless while its a stolen item, it will attract more attention and scrutiny that is worth the risk, id say if it was a planned event its being used for parts..

The photo could be of a different but similar car, or could have been taken before it was fitted with Globes if that is the same car.

This may be the case for the person who stole it but even if someone is caught with it in 20 years time they can still be charged for being in possession of stolen property.
If the thief was someone else then it's possible that the statute of limitations may apply but the person who has it in their possession can still be charged.
Either way I couldn't give a flying duck, I'd just want it back safe and sound.
