I've seen those before. From what I recall there was a genuine EL GT for sale for ages fitted with a monster tacho and one of those fake drop tanks. Way to wreck a great car! (well, in the GT's case)

I might be the only one, but i don't mind drop tanks, they obviously suit the older style car (muscle car). It doesn't look that bad..

Back in the days of SLR & SS Toranas they were nearly mandatory. I had an SS with a warm 308 that would barely get 200kms out of its tiny 13 gallon tank when flogged.
Getting someone to weld up an Alloy Tank was a tough find, MIGs & TIGs were just a welder's wetdream... It was oxy acetilene, a stick of ally and a lot of good luck to get a tank that was sealed! |

i have a mate who has a actual drop tank on his vs...holds 100L looks the goods too plus he has dual exhuast set up aswell
