hey guys and girls
i thought id repost this as it is a couple of weeks away. the cruise for cancer, raising money and awareness of prostate cancer. the cruise for cancer is on Sunday the 18th of November 2007 Sydney wilson park carpark silverwater rd silverwater. meet here for a 9am start. Newcastle Speers point park boat ramp carpark. Creek reserve road. Meet here for a 930am start. Central coast tuggerah business park,on Reliance drive (behind NBN tv). meet here at 11am (traffic depending) . this is were the sydney and newcastle legs will meet up together with the c/coast people. finish at EDSACC, cnr of the entrance rd and yakalla st the entrance at around 12 noon. here there is plenty of car spaces and area to set up bbq's, picnics etc. there is also a shopping centre across the rd, and sporting grounds to play footy etc. to keep up to date please check out the website at http://www.freewebs.com/cruiseforcancer , email at velocityexcel@hotmail.com or call dan on 0403 680 961. we also have some great prizes up for grabs in the raffle and lucky door prizes to give away on the day. if anyone would like to donate prizes for the cruise please pm me or email me at velocityexcel@hotmail.com cheers dan brown

yep the cruise for cancer is open to anything that can be road registered, bring ya mates, dog whatever. :

its hard to say, i'll be happy to get 70 -100 cars (sydney/ccoast/newcastle) it all depends on weather.
it's for a good cause so i'll be happy with any amount of cars

sundays weather is predicted sunny and 27 degrees, bring the sunscreen. on sunday we're holding a bbq, sausage sizzle and drink for $2. all proceeds go to prostate cancer, or there's food outlets at the shopping centre across the road or byo picnic lunches. Raffle prizes so far are # FPR racing jacket from brad garlick ford # a major service at BTA Motorsports # a set of reverse sensors from stav at stingray security # a cricket ball autographed by Dennis Lillie # a framed and autographed Brett Stevens Racing T-shirt # street machine goodies bags # swann diy security monitoring system from campbell's wholesale # a copy of "the chase is on" dvd from street fords # the book "australian icons of sport, Peter Brock" # a copy of the history of the holden dealer team dvd # a copy of the book "shelby mustang, racer for the street" from street fords # a copy of the book "fuel and guts, the birth of top fuel drag racing" from street fords # and an adults "drinks" pack. winners of this prize MUST BE OVER 18 sorry lucky door prizes sydney: lunch at Maggios cafe, miller street cammeray. newcastle/central coast: $100 of meat courtesy of Moore's meats Morisset. a huge thankyou for all the supporters of the cruise suppliying the prizes
