Hi All,
I'm in Morwell, Country Vic and had an Accelerator cable jam up. Any help on where to find one? before Monday...It's a 1985 Telstar thanks Greg |

you take off the cable and hang it on the cloths line and feed it with oil or wd 40 inside the outer cover then try to get it moving backwards and forwards
if the strands are broken inside you can try to cut the most annoying ones do you have a push bike handbrake cable ? if you have to improvise depends where the break is I can only suggest twist/ patch in the right length or fencing wire or wire coat hanger if the outer cover is the problem a PVC hose or off a fish tank or something a similar thickness even tape will do and if still a problem a return spring at the carby
