You can get any FWD bagging easy especially on a hill. Id say that the civic would be a VTEC cause its 2 door and i think that in that sort of shape they came out a VTI. I reckon it sounds awesome. One thing for sure is if i get the Integra Type R next is i wont be doing that to it lol. Heard some story bout if you shift gears at the high RPMs with the VTEC and shift into wrong gear say goodbye to your valves. Some guy blew all his valves on (dont know if it was exhaust or intake) and another valve on (again either intake or exhaust). Crazy shit. Dont think you would get away with that in Oz as there is a LOT of people willing to dob someone in. Still shouldnt do it though.
