I was lucky enough to get a set on BA XR6 rims on my car for free (the dealer had a set lying around)

Same wheels, both the 6 and the 8 have an 18" option. Other than that they both come with the 17" wheel. The 18" wheel is somewhere around the $600 a piece mark by the time they are set up with centre caps and everything and then new tyres on top of that (anywhere up to $400-500 depending on quality, my goodyear eagle F1's cost $430 each). Not a cheap proposition!

They actually come Standard on XR8s built after May 2004 along with Prestige sound...
You can buy copies off a place called wheels direct for about $230 each.

According to the ford web site premium sound is a seperate option for $900 from factory, not tied in with wheels.

XR8's get prestige sound, black and white screen (same as standard) with 6 stacker ($600 option on XR6 and XR6T)
XR6's and XR6T's get the standard single slot cd player with black and white screen. The premium sound has extra speakers, a sub, and amp and a colour screen, thats the $900 option.

Ford just started selling the XR8's with the free 18's and prestige sound last year, they have since made it standard on all MKII XR8's. The 18's are optional on XR6 and XR6T.
