Default Christmas Party .. 2007

Xmas Party – Sunday 16th December

This year we have arranged a fun family day. It will start by meeting at the Chirnside Park Shopping Centre Carpark, Maroondah Highway, Chirnside Park at the entrance near the cinemas (opposite Red rooster) at 9:30am. You will enjoy a fun drive answering questions and collecting items along the way, before you arrive at our destination. Lunch is provided but you will need to bring your own drinks. There is PLENTY to do for the kids to stretch their legs and wander around.

There will be prizes for the rallye as well as a couple of others for events held during the day at the venue........

The price?
Family memberships – all family members are paid for.
Members – paid for. For others (partners, kids, mates, grandkids etc),
Adults are $15, Children are $5. This is for admission and lunch – well worth the value (the club has subsidised this).

This is a reminder for all who are interested in coming along as we have to finalise numbers for catering purposes on Monday 10th December. Please RSVP to Go Baby Go

It should be a great day as there is nearly 90 people attending the day already...... Santa will be coming along on the day so if you are bringing kids please supply your own present (upto $20 in value) with their name clearly marked on it.

Looking forward to another great day, given the few events I'm able to attend and the new members on here, there should be a few new faces to meet:
Atleast this time I will have a navigator or will be navigating, can't wait. :

Just having a look on the BOM website and they say Fine Min 15 & max 23 for tomorrow, so it should be an 'amazing' day to be had by all...........

If I were a betting man I would 'hedge' all of my bets on a fine day with great company and a special visit from a little fat man in a red suit

No worries- and as for the kids worn out i think that applies to the big kids as well as the little ones.

Pics are now on the website- along with the island ones - XRNIL8 i'm still going through the cd - there's a couple of corrupt images so it is taking a bit longer..........

Glad everyone enjoyed it. The weather held off, food was yummo and how lucky were we that Santa dropped by!!!
Andrew dressed up, and he and Melissa donated all those lolly bags- thanks guys!!!!!! BlkPhoon will send me his pics of all of you going past him (some in the wrong direction) so will add those later...

Here's a couple......

Yep was an absolute fantastic day with great company, venue and food to top it off.... It was great to see everyone there and enjoying themselves whether they were trying to get their partners or kids lost in the maze or trying to beat the kids in mini-golf. The game of Christmas cricket was a bit of a laugh as well, especially for someone like me that has never played before but to see the 'reverse sweep' lob into the other party group was a little funny.....sorry... :

On behalf of the club I would like to wish all the members & their families of both FPV & XR Owners Club of Victoria and the AFF community a safe Christmas and a Happy & Prosperous New Year.

Hi all, just got home. Thanks to all involved for organizing the day as it was fantastic. Looks like the wife will be hanging around as these relationship testing events are very character building ing_sm just kidding! The kids had a good sleep in the car after leaving, although they had plenty of time as I think I got more lost leaving the place than getting to it.
Have a good xmas break.
See you all on the flipside.
