Default Eibach springs

Boys, I've got myself a nice set of eibach springs and want to know who best to fit them.

Ford Dealer is quoting $350. Pedders $401 including wheel alignment.

Seems steep, or am I dreaming? I thought Matt did the swap for about $200 something?????

Mr Eibach is a very nice fellow and the products from memory are from Germany? Why not call them?

They are German and are generally regarded as amongst the best you can get. These springs are sold by Ford in the UK as a genuine suspension upgrade for the LR Focus with stock shocks. Yet to have them fitted, but by reputation a good progressive spring, that drops ride by about an inch, improves handling, but still a very comfortable ride

I've decided to go with Pedders (St Kilda).

Gut feel, but talking to these guys on the phone, they seemed intelligent, interested, and will do a full suspension check prior to going to Oran Park. Plus I have a "knock" coming from the front suspension, so they'll sort that as well

For the extra $50-$100 compared to the Ford Dealer, I figure I am dealing with suspension specialists, so fingers crossed they do a good job.

Basically, I got a good vibe talking to them!

I would make my cousin do my lowered suspension. Only because he is my cousin and also my mechanic and does suspension repairs as a day job

I had the same "knock" coming from the front end about 6 months ago, turned out to be a loose joint in the lower left control arm.. Conveniently it was out of warranty and i had to fork out $600 to replace it.. I do hope this isn't the case for you! Goodluck!!
