even if they didnt get the car kit?

is it the complete aerial, or just the base?

if they didnt get the car cit, it'll have the button looking cover..

if they did get the kit, it'll have an aerial about 8 or 9 inches long

It was a special digi kit Ford had.

From memory, the aerial alone cost $140.
(hence, most put aftermarket kits in)

Mine was optioned with the car kit, and has the antenna still on the roof... The actual car kit is long gone, the only reminders are some unused plugs in the boot wiring loom and three screw holes in the T-bar surround...

When I finish my in car PC, it'll become the antenna for the TV tuner

It's to plug the hole where they blow up the standard models to the larger size :

Just wondering if anyone had some information on what made up the rest of the "car kit" on these models? My FbT has the aerial and the little cappa stand next to the shifter ... but I have no idea what other peices would be installed? I assume there is a computer somewhere to control it? Is it for Analogue or Digital mobile phones?

Any info would be great ...

That was it, the holder and the areial.

The rest was supplied by the owner to suit their own phone.
