Default TX3 Turbo - Handbrake cable

Hi guys

This is my first time posing here since I acquired a 91 TX3 Turbo for myself.... :

My handbrake cable snapped a week ago. Made some calls, no brake shops do handbrakes, called Ford directly and they want a fortune for a new one.

I was told the handbrake cable was split into 3 pieces.....and if this is so, I think i need to replace the part from the lever inside the car.

My question: I'm pretty sure I could get this part from the wreckers no problem, but how do you go about actually changing this snapped cable? I have no car manual, but if someone can explain the process, or scan the pages of the manual up to this page, i'd be eternally grateful!

Thanks in advance guys
