today i think i have seen it all when it comes to what people do with there cars.Where i was working there was i cement truck parked outside a building site,while i was watching a ba/bf ute came out of the site,he then backed up to the truck they had like a big sheet of plastic,they then proceeded to fill and i mean fill the back with concrete,the rear wheels were up in the guards so far you couldnt see the top of the wheel and the tyres looked like they had no air.This went on for the rest of the day,so dont let anybody say fords arent tough.

Dam, that's a bit harsh on the Ute, we normally get a Bobcat and fill the bucket for that type of job.

Would be a fair bit of weight
A cube of wet concrete is approx a bit more than double in kg (2.3tonne or so) and there are around 12-13 barrows in a metre....a full tub would hold a fair few barrows |

That's OK ... the bump stops are doing their job from stopping the suspension sag further that what was described.
I am surprised that the tyres took that load (if it was as heavy as Rodderz described) .... although the standard Dunlop 3000A rubber has 97 load rated rubber ... so they can handle a bit) At least it's not as bad as that XF ute that was posted with that oversized pallet in the back with popped tyres. :hihi:

Problem is about 2.1m x 1.6m x 300mm deep (rough tray size, half full tray) is about a cube of concrete. = 2.4 tonne. Nice load...lol

Its not the suspension id be worried about, it would be the bend in the chassis from all that weight.
