Default WQ Fog Light Upgrade

Hey everyone,

I bought fog lights off ebay a while back for a steal. The only thing wrong with them was that one off the clips had broken off. No matter. I finally got round to buying the other bits and pieces from the local Ford dealer. Fitted them this evening, and may I say, it was much easier than I had imagined.

What was needed for this upgrade:

Bezel: 6S61 19952BC55MW
6S61 19953BC55MW
Switch: 6S6T 13Z024 DA
Clips: W 700895 S300

The clips slot into the bumper and allow the lamps to be screwed in.

As I already had the lamps I didn't get the part number for them.

Things to note about upgrading fog lights in WQ Fiesta. Unlike the WP, there are already existing connectors just behind the LX bezels, so you don't need to buy any connecting wires. There is also no need for any brackets. The lamps simply sit inside the bumper and are held in by screws (or that's what i did anyway - if you decide to do this you'll see what I mean)

I also installed new bulbs to the main headlights and the fogs as I wanted to match them. I'll have pics up hopefully tomorrow after clean the car up a bit.

More mods coming very soon, hopefully before Small Ford Sunday.

(any number on the actual part itself i relise you didnt get them from ford). How did you go with the light switch in dash. Hard to get out? oh and what did it all cost???

The lamps I got off ebay for $20 if my memory serves correctly. Very lucky to find them. But since I found them on ebay, I didn't get the part number quoted on my receipt. Just ask the guys at ford, i'm sure they will help you out. But make sure they give you part numbers for the standard fiesta bumper, not the XR4. I'll have a look though, since I have to adjust the height of the lights. All up, I think I ended up spending about $220.

The switch was as easy as pie. Open up the compartment to the lower left of your steering wheel and then stick your hand up there. Just grab the switch from behind, pinch the levers in and push out. Very very simple. If your hands are too big you may be in strife.

Good luck with the install.
