Default Victoria Super Cruz Event Calder Park

I believe this event may have already been brought up in discussion. Here is a link for the event being held at Calder Park later this month. Anyone interested?

My understanding is $220 to enter a show n shine. Is this correct?

http://www.vicsupercruz.com.au/entry-prices.htm

I understand there are also other activities but this is essentially the man reason the club would enter as part of the show.

If I am mistaken then please point me in the right direction.

I understand what your saying but If you think we can run a show n shine and pay the costs to hire calder and every thing else maybe you should give it ago and I will come and support your day.
Also its your call that you only want to enter show n shine, That means this event is not for you.....

Mate we are not trying to run a Show n Shine at Calder you are.

l also see it as a bit much for the guy who does not race his show car down the track, l see this show as you guys putting a few fast cars down the drag strip and you have just put in a show n shine to offset the hire of the venue, l myself doing both if still had my car still would not outlay that kind of cash. Especially when you can go to the Summernats in Canberra and pay min $110 and max $250. l myself would have like to have seen a price for just show n shine as l think it would give more reasons for people to go and see this event as there would be more for the spectator to look at throu the day.

Don't get the wrong idea John l take my hat of to you for trying to get a decent event back to Melb but just looks like to me your looking to host your own Calder Park Nationals Event as l see alot of the entrants are ANDRA cars so to me l can't see them doing much other than the straight line stuff...Anyway first event so we will see what changes come with the other events in the future if all goes well....l myself don't see Drag Racing coming back to Calder like it used to be 15 years ago with full comp cars from all around and even from the states....But we do hope that someday it will return..

Cheers Chris
