Default Living The Dream

Does anyone else get this feeling?

I was driving along the highway on Australia day, my huge aussie flag flapping in the wind as I cruise at a comfortable 100kph.

As I drove through the city, sitting on 50kph I can't count the amount of nods of approval and thumbs up I got! I even had a guy in a brand new Cobra ute give me the thumbs up!

Then it hit me, as I stopped to get a drink and saw my baby parked across the road with the aussie flag flapping in the breeze.

I am living the dream!

Always, as long as I can remember, I've always wanted to drive around in a smick car and have people admire it, etc etc. I felt on top of the world that day!! I don't think I stopped smiling!!

Not to rain on your parade, but as I read that, it was the flag they admired not the car. Kind of rings true if you dont get that response when the flag isnt there.

But Ill give ya the thumbs up for the flag too.

Spot on about living the dream.

You get the same buzz when you hop on a plane and see how most of the rest of the world lives. Makes you glad to be an Aussie thats for sure.
