Default escort factory ride heights

hello,

i am after some specs on the mk1 and mk2 escorts,
i am looking for a list of the factory ride heights for the mk1 and mk2 escorts, ( the distance between the ground and the arch ).

I have been given the specs ( rear-580mm and front-620mm ) at the local inspection center, but i believe they could be for a mk2, even with the factory height springs installed my car does not meet these measurements

my car is a 1970 mk1 2 door

hoping some might be able to help

Thanks
Sb

Sb, I couldn't tell you what factory specs are, but considering your Mk1 is over 30years old your springs would have sagged considerably. The only option to get as close to factory ride height would be to source aftermarket springs in std height.
