Was does it matter call it what u want but if the poms and euros called it that.
Thats what it must be after all australia has only been speaking for just over 200 years where europe and uk have been speaking for 1000s.

Ummm, but cars are only 100 years old.......and the US has built more cars than any other continent.

Either way, calling it pinking is stupid, it is not a commonly referred to term (unlike pinging) and simply confuses people.

easy solution dont let your car pink or ping then u dont have to use the word

Yes, pinking may be correct but its pointless to put it on customer brochures...less than 0.0001% of people (just those with obscure british merchanics manuals it seems) have ever heard of it.

I tried your survey today and the only one who said he had heard of it was an elderly asian gentleman, who stated "ress pinking rig shitty in China!"
