Default 2.2 TDCi Mondeo 400Nm

Fingers crossed, the higher output diesel & wagon version of the Mondeo make it to Australia soon...

It'd be good for Ford to beat Mazda to the punch with their upgraded 6 diesel.

Any info when this engine will be released into the existing mondeo range. I know this engine has just been revealed over in europe as well, so are we looking at end of 2008 or mid 2009??

Europe generally has short lead times... if its revealed today, it would be on sale within 3 months... If that becomes the diesel in the wagon's, the timing might just be right. Big issue will be supply if they do bring it in... imagine with even higher demand...! Think the 2.2 in Eu will be badged as per the old model as the ST TDCI or something...
