Default 95 KJ Laser & POD Filter

Hi All, New here, been reading through the forums for weeks now.

I Have a 95 KJ Laser Liata LXI
I Am about to install a POD filter to replace the standard Air Box.
Do I need to keep the air flow meter?

Also Could someone please explain how to do it? I've got a pretty good idea so far just want to be sure.

Got a Lukey sports exhaust system on it and im hoping this will let the engine breathe a bit better.

thanks

Yes, without your AFM you're screwed.

It goes Intake>Pipe>AFM>Pod

You'll need some sort of connector that you can buy from autobarn etc.

Realise that without a heat sheild all your pod is going to do is suck in engine bay hot air which might infact make it worse rather than better.

Thanks Vippen,

I have a customised manifold that comes from the intake near the front wheels and comes up mto a half shroud to direct some cold air onto it, but i will monitor it and see how i go
