I know they are fast but the Clio isn't really my style (to each their own). Nice car though. I wasn't even a Ford fan up till the Fiesta. I gave my brother crap (jokingly) about his Escort, as brothers do. I liked the Focus especially the ST170 but when I saw the Fiesta at the Motorshow in Brisbane I just loved the look of it. I went for a test drive a few weeks later and bought it that day.
If the ST ends up costing about $25000 to $30000 then I'll trade in for sure. In the meantime I will just keep improving the Fiesta I have. I love the fact that I can finally mod a car that still has parts available and premium parts available in the UK. Spent a lot of time trying to restore cars in the past and I am over hunting for parts.

Or you could just drive a real Typhoon like I did : Those things are sheer insanity on wheels.... I love it!! :hihi:
As for the Fiesta not being in GT4, it is a shame, however not a shame that the Focus ST170 AND RS are in it!!!!! I can't wait to win the RS. It's an awesome taily hatch. Then there's my Rally weapons of choice, the Eskie and the RS WRC. mmmmm Add that to a supercharged Stang and a worked Ford GT and I don't need another vehicle in my garage!! And I'd definitely hand down take a MkII XR8 over an SS.... ANY day. Sounds better by far, handles better, looks better, goes virtually as hard stock which is damn good enough for me!!

Thats all just my opinion though. Still love the Fiesta, Focus and Territory though (Adventra is just shocking in v8 form... v6 aint bad.... in comparison to the Liberty Outback...)

I have to say I love the Fiesta, like the last Focus, not too sure about the new Focus (but it is growing on me, we need the three door version over here!). Hate 4 wheel drives they are the Volvo drivers of the new millenium! But I do like the Territory it is a very nice looking 4x4. I'd take a GT anyday (the GT40 decendant).
As for Falcons vs Dunnydoors I have to go Falcon. Hate Holdens!!!! But anything before the BA forget it except the XB,XC Coupes! Love that Mad Max Interceptor, and the Cobras! One of my close friends has a chip'ed BA XR6 Turbo and it ain't bad at all, just not what I am after. Teki I just did a search in the Fiesta Technical manual on the ABS system. There is 5 parts to buy to install it. The ABS unit and 4 sensors. The car needs to have two valves removed from the lines just after the master cylinder (they are inside the ABS unit on Zetec/Ghia). The EBD I think is built into the ABS unit from what I can see, still trying to confirm that though. The lines might be different also and have to check the wiring yet. Not an over the weekend job but possible to retrofit with some work. So somewhere down the line ABS and EBD is possible for my LX. Also found out what the blanked off switch hole is for in the right side of the glove box... It is to switch off the passenger airbag. Obviously Australian laws don't allow it or something like that. Great to finally have the technical manual to look this stuff up! Cheers Jason

Sweeet.... How did you get the Fiesta Technical Manual aye?!! Why not do the whole thing straight off and try and get the rear disks at the same time?

Got a copy of the Ford TIS disc of eBay.
Has manuals for everything from Escorts to Focus's to Fiesta's (all the European Fords). Gives you step by step procedures on everything you would have to do to the car if you worked for Ford Service. Lots of diagrams to! Pretty much tells you how to disasemble any Fiesta and then rebuild it! :hihi: Only bad thing is it has all the bulletins for up till 2003 so no ST or Zetec S info in it!

Well I just got my ST Wing paid for in England and should have it in a fortnight!!!
I also got a quote on the genuine Ford Motorsport JWRC bonnet vent and it will cost me $150 all up from the UK. Car doesn't really need it but it looks cool. I've attached a pic of the one on the JWRC. And also a pic of it from under the bonnet. It really takes up a lot of bonnet space! Still umming and arrring about whether it would look good on a standard Fiesta compared to the JWRC. Any opinions? Cheers Jason
