Default Now here's something ORSM!!!!

Ok fellas. over the last 2 days i have been working on something for the car.

I stole the design from the boys over at the EuroFordClub, which kindly allowed me to use there idea for a display stand which i then adapted it for grass and non-grass events.

Its basically a photoframe mounded on a stake (detachable) which is bolted (detachable) to the base.

In total this cost me $11.50 to make using what i had around the house and a couple of things that i had to buy.

I think the end result came out very nice.

Also its my 18th Birthday this Saturday. I have my P's book in 4 weeks. ..... Cant wait.

Looks good, we have been talking about something like that for a while. If you are coming to next meeting bring it along.

That is fantastic, and yes something the club has been meaning to do.

Looks very compact too and sound very cheap.

Now going along the same lines, but in a different way. this is the way i will be displaying mine car details.
When i changed my rims over, i received 5 and the fifth one is cracked through a spoke.
So the tyre will be coming off, i came across 2 axles, and belted the studs out and put them back in the opposite way.

Now all you do is put axle through the hole, put wheel nuts on as normal, and there is your base and upright.
The axle will be getting chromed.
Im debating on this next bit.......but will be using checkerplate.
A square piece of CP, with either a small lip at bottom or i was going to cut it out in the shape of the FORD logo, then attach the middle piece of a school folder binder thingie that clips together as a ring!!
Then put in details, pics of the vehicle ETC ETC
Then u use a small piece of pipe,
(that is a snug over the top of the axle) welded to the back
Very easy and effective.
But the best thing is that every car has a spare tyre that they can use........

Nice work Tony. There was guy in Adelaide with an immaculate GT. He had a barrier around his display using original 12 slotters as the bases. Looked fanastic, so yours will to mate.
