I said that to him afterwards, clearly he hasn't trained me well enough, or i would have had the phone cam out before trying to bring him round lol..

and yes, Dave had been in the engine bay of the effy, undoing the nuts holding the heater core in place..

speaking of good mates, while Dave was at barrys place recovering, baz joined me in going back to the wreckers, to find and remove the parts Dave originally needed for his car. Top work baz

I saw the doc today(gotta love how long it takes to get an appointment with a decent doctor now days) and it seems the cause of all this was low blood pressure mixed with dehydration. Blood sugar came back mostly OK, low cholesterol, and all the other crap came back fine. So docs orders are more salt, more fluids. So Beer and Pretzels it is.

Go team.

Can I have the number of your doctor????

With a prescription like that.... no wonder it took so long to get in and see them.

Misses - So what did the Doc say?
Me - Not much, should be right.
Misses - Did he give you anything?
Me - Yeah, I'll pick it up later.
Misses - I'm going to the shops, I can call past the chemist.
Me - Chemist? WTF? Trying the bottl-o.
Misses - Bottl-o? WTF!!!!!!!

After reading all of this, I'm still trying to figure out why you wanted to go outside on a day that was 42 degrees? I've either been at work, on the train to work which is thankfully air-conditioned, or sitting on the couch at home with the evap air-conditioning going full blast to keep me cool. I wouldn't even dream of stepping outside to do some work, and I have plenty to do around the new house!

Good to hear everything is OK though. I wouldn't mind a doc prescribing beer and pretzels. Unfortunately, I have high blood pressure, so salt is off the list for me. At least beer is still OK.

People don't realise the impact of a hot and humid day on the body
Think you may be over exagerating a tad there mate.
