With Holden due to export the Commodore to Nth America as the Pontiac G8 I imagine Ford Oz will be watching very closely. I hope it will be a great success for Holden as the possible flow on effect to Ford Oz and the components suppliers could be very positive.
Fishermen's Bend & Elizabeth are the crown Jewel in the GM empire based on the expertise and quick turn around of engineering from the screen to production. Ford Oz is in the same position Holden was several years back and with recognition for it's work as with a rumor of Ford US Taurus going RWD backed up by Ford Oz announcements of exporting it's RWD knowledge to Nth America I wonder if the Falcon will ever venture north? (http://forums.motortrend.com/70/6580...con/index.html) I wish Holden the best of success because we'll all be on a winner. : |
